  • Taking Action When We Can’t See The Path

Most of the time we can’t see the path to our final destination. Sometimes we can barely see what our next step should be.

It can be hard to act when this happens and so we need to be able to trust ourselves and trust the process.

“Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase.” – Martin Luther King, Jr.

Today we tap to be able to take the next step even when we can’t see the whole path.

  • Courage Comes From Care

Caring for someone else can feel like a dangerous task. When we care we are are opening ourselves up to having our efforts turned down.

  • Being Courageous Does Not Mean We Are Free Of Fear

I agree with Nelson Mandela: “I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.”

There will be times when we will still feel fearful, even after tapping. Fear in itself isn’t a bad thing, it’s just the part of us looking out for danger.

Courage is seeing what could go wrong and still acting in the face of possible failure.

Today we are going to tap to take action even when we feel fearful.

“We have to stop and be humble enough to understand that there is something called mystery.” – Paulo Coelho

I think one of the hallmarks of my maturing is the fact that I am becoming more and more comfortable with mystery. This does not mean that I have stopped striving to learn more and to understand. It simply means that when I don’t fully understand I can still be at peace in the moment.

  • Healing Self Healing Others

Lots of people ask me about how they can tap surrogately for their loved ones. I think Yoko Ono got it right when she said, “Healing yourself is connected with healing others.”

It is important that we recognize the importance of caring for ourselves when we are wanting to see a difference in the world. When we heal ourselves we then have the resources to care for others and, more importantly, our own healing clears space for others to heal.
