    When we are coming up with goals and naming things that we want to change in our lives it is very easy to be excited at the beginning. As times passes and as we get into the day to day of the tasks working towards our goals it is very easy to get bogged down. When this happens we tend to lose our motivation.

  • If Others See Me Improve They Will Expect Me To Keep Improving

    Making progress is really encouraging. We feel better about ourselves and it gives us momentum to take more action.

    One of the side effects of our success is that others may raise their expectations of us.

    This can be both flattering and feel like a burden. Part of us can be fearful that others will expect this new level of success from us all the time.

    Today we are going to tap for the fear that others will expect more from us if we succeed today.

  • I trust my heart.

    On some level we all know that we need to be able to trust our own hearts. But the heart is so irrational it often feels like it is calling us to make choices that have no chance of working out.

    We shouldn’t trust our hearts blindly, but we need to trust them more. Today we are going to tap to trust our hearts more.

  • The Pain Of Failure Is Greater Than The Feeling Of Success So I Just Don’t Want To Try

    We have failed in the past and that failure has hurt. Because we have experienced failure in our past it can make us gun shy of taking bold action in the future. When this happens we become hesitant or even stop taking action at all.

    Today we are going to tap for those times when our fear of the pain of failure is greater than our desire to take action.

  • I’m Too Tired And I Just Want To Give Up!

    Moving forward takes work and effort. Sometimes this effort is so great that it becomes tiring to the point where we just want to give up.

    Our vision is so limited. We can only see what is right in front of us. And often that is an imperfect view of what is truly going on.

    Sometimes we feel like we have to work so much harder than those around us. Others have opportunity, support, and infrastructure around them that makes achieving their goals so much easier.

  • I Am Worried I Look Stupid If I Ask For Help

    When we are taking on new tasks we will encounter some things we don’t know how to do. The easiest path achieving these is asking for help.

    There are times we don’t want to ask for help because we have to admit that we don’t know how to do something. It can be hard letting others know that we don’t know something. That can be embarrassing.

    Today we are going to tap for the worry around others judging us when we admit we don’t know something.
