  • I Can’t Start Unless I Have My Goals Perfect

    One of the challenges of a process like this is feeling like we have to know exactly what our goals are before we start.

    We feel that if we don’t know where we are going, we will head off in the wrong direction and end up wasting time and effort.

    Today we tap for being stuck because we need a perfect plan.

    There’s a part of me that’s worried…Because I don’t know where I’m going…And I don’t know exactly what I want…I’m worried that I’m going to head in the wrong direction…That I’m going to waste time on the wrong things…That I’m going to get lost and not find my way back…That because I don’t know where I’m going…I’m going to make lots of mistakes…But I give myself permission…To know that it’s OK…To not have a perfect plan…To not have perfect goals…To not have everything planned out…My goal list is a work in progress…And as I move forward…And as I try new things…I’m going to learn things about myself…And I’m going to learn things about the process…And that’s OK…Because with experience…My goals are going to get sharper…My plans are going to become more refined…And as I move forward…I can enjoy that process…Even if I’m not heading in the exact, right, perfect direction…It is a process…And that’s OK…I give myself permission to be easy with myself…And easy with the process.

  • I Am Afraid To Share My Gifts

    Sometimes we feel that we will be judged if we share our gifts. We are worried that people will think that we are foolish or what we have to offer is trivial.

    Today we tap to knowing that it is good for us to share our skills and talents.

    Share Gifts

    I want to share my gifts…I want to share my talents…I have so much to offer…And I know when I offer…I improve the lives…Of those around me…And I improve my own life…And there’s a part of me that’s worried…That if I share my giftedness…I’m going to be judged…I’m going to be seen as foolish…I’m going to be seen as making mistakes…I’m going to be seen as less than…I give myself permission to know that not everybody is going to accept…My gifts…And what I have to share…But my gifts are not for everyone…My gifts are not for every circumstance…And when I share my gifts…The people who can be transformed by those…Will receive them…It’s good that I recognize that I’m gifted…It’s good that I feel confident sharing those gifts…It’s good for me…It’s good for those around me.

  • Bonus Good Night’s Rest Script

    Are you looking for something to help you sleep through the night? Try this right before you go to bed.

    There are a number of things that didn’t go as planned today.

    Some of them are still on my mind.

    They are floating around in the forms of regret and disappointment.

    At this point there is nothing I can do about these things.

    I give myself permission to let these worries and anxieties to melt away.

    If I need theses worries and anxieties again tomorrow I can re-find them.

    More than likely after a good night’s sleep these things will seem less daunting and tomorrow I will have the opportunity to respond in a new way.

    There are a number of things that I am thinking about that are going to happen tomorrow or sometime in the future.

    There is nothing that I can do about these things tonight.

    The best thing that I can do about the unknown that is coming in the future is to get a good night’s sleep so that when I wake tomorrow I will be well rested and re-energized to take on these tasks and opportunities.

    When I climb into bed tonight I will fall asleep easily and gently.

    When my head hits the pillow my body will naturally relax.

    It will happen easily and gently.

    Even if I don’t fall asleep right away that is OK because I know just resting in bed is going to do a lot for my system, giving it a chance to slow down and heal.

    I know the part of my system that is responsible for sleep works very hard.

    It wants me to sleep and to receive all the amazing benefits that come from a night of restful sleep.

    I appreciate the part of me that is responsible for sleep, even though I sometimes am hard on myself and this part of my system when it has a hard time sleeping.

    I want the part of my system that is responsible for sleep to know that it is not alone in providing me sleep.

    The whole system is committed to a night of deep, relaxing, gentle sleep.

    Whatever other parts of the system that the sleep part wants to call on, I give it permission to do that now.

    AND I want it to know that I want it to work with the rest of the system.

    My system works best when all the parts are working together.

    I am going to have restful sleep tonight.

    I am going to have gentle sleep tonight.

    I am going to have re-energizing sleep tonight.

    I am going to have healing sleep tonight.

    I am going to sleep in such a way that it will feed my creativity and inspiration tonight.

    In the morning I am going to wake up gently and easily.

    I am going to wake up re-energized and ready to take on a new day.

    I am going to wake with open eyes to new opportunities and bigger dreams.

    I am going to wake knowing that this night’s sleep served me and the new day very well.

    I give myself permission to have a gentle, restful night of sleep.

    My sleep is important.

    During sleep my system has the recharge and re-energize.

    During sleep my conscious, subconscious, and unconscious minds have the opportunity to sort out all the new information and lessons form today.

    While I am sleeping I don’t need to give any of these functions any thought.

    My system can take care of all of this while I get a gentle, restful night of sleep.

  • Model Of Virtue

    The reflection for today’s tap along is, “Help me to remember that my words and actions serve as a model for others, even when that is not my specific intention.”

    We are not responsible for what others think, feel, and do, but our words and actions do impact those around us. It is good to remember that our actions help to guide the thoughts, words, and actions of other people.

    Seeing Beauty

    I am not responsible for the choices of others…I am not responsible for others’ actions…I am not responsible for the thoughts of others…But I do impact those around me…In the words I say…In the actions I take…There are times I do this publicly…Where I take a stand to intentionally be a model…It’s good to encourage others…And to push others…To see things differently…And to think in new ways…But I do this more than just when I do it publicly…I do this more than when I do it just intentionally…It happens all the time…In my thoughts and words…Even when I think I’m not being public…I am being noticed…It’s good I take responsibility…For how my words and actions impact others…Even when I don’t think I’m being noticed…My words and actions impact others…And I define who I want to be…Through my words and actions…It’s important to remember that all of my actions…Not just my public actions…Are impacting others…And it’s good I take responsibility for them…

  • Feeling Overwhelmed By How Much Tapping There Is To Do?

    I have heard it from a lot of you. “There are so many good things to tap to on the site, but I am just feeling overwhelmed by it all!”

    That’s OK!

    You don’t have to do it all. AND you don’t have to do it all right now!

    There’s so much I want to accomplish…There’s so much I want to do…There are so many tools in front of me…And I feel like I’m failing…If I’m not using them all…If I’m not tapping every day…If I’m not tapping perfectly…It just feels like there’s so much…But I don’t have to do it all…I don’t have to do every single tap-along…I don’t have to use every single tool…By simply taking the time…To be present to what I need to deal with…That will make a difference…I don’t have to do today’s audio…I don’t have to do every audio..I can choose the one that makes sense for me…When it makes sense for me…Without having to do them all…

  • Worthy To Be Whole

    A few weeks ago we tapped toBeing Worth To Be Here. It was one the most commented on tap-alongs to date.

    Today we take the next step. In addition to being worthy of being here, we are also worthy to be fully ourselves and to stand up proud and tall.

    It is not enough just to exist; we are able to be ourselves completely.

    That is what we will tap for today.

    My system is a powerful healing machine.

    My system is made for health and well-being. I appreciate everything that my system does on unconscious and subconscious levels all day and night to keep me healthy and safe. I know my system isn’t perfect in doing this, but it is truly amazing in what is does.

    I know that there are choices that I make that make it harder for my system to heal and grow. There are thoughts that I have, emotions that I feel, beliefs that I hold, things that I eat and drink, and choices that I make which makes it harder for my system to maintain optimum health. I apologize to my system for any of these that I have done, especially in the last twenty-four hours. I appreciate the fact that my system is willing to keep working towards my health and well-being.

    There are many things that my system is holding onto that is slowing healing and growth. These can be in the forms of thoughts, emotions, beliefs, and substance in my physical body. Some of these are known while some are unknown or hidden. At one point the system thought these were helpful or still thinks they are helpful. I give my system permission to let go of anything that is blocking health and well being. If it needs these things in the future, I will be able to pick them up again. I give my system permission to let them go even if the system doesn’t understand what they are or why the system thought they were helpful at one point.

    My system is a powerful healing machine. I give my system permission to release its healing power, not just now, but throughout the whole day and as I sleep tonight. I do not need to be conscious of this healing and growth. My system has permission to heal.

    There are many systems in my body that do so many amazing things. There might be blocks and impediments to these parts working to their optimum potential.

    I give my system permission to remove any blocks and provide to my body anything it needs for health and well-being.

    I give my system permission to remove any blocks and provide to my digestive system for optimum health and well-being.

    I give my system permission to remove any blocks and provide to my respiratory system for optimum health and well-being.

    I give my system permission to remove any blocks and provide to my circulatory system for optimum health and well-being.

    I give my system permission to remove any blocks and provide to my nervous system for optimum health and well-being.

    I give my system permission and energy to remove any blocks and provide health and healing to my limbic system for optimum health and well-being.

    I know that as I move through the day I encounter many things that it is hard for my system to process or can be hard for my system to process.     I want my immune system to know how much I appreciate how hard it works. I want my immune system to know it is not the only part of me that is trying to keep my safe and healthy. I give my immune system permission to access other parts of my system to ensure that I stay safe and healthy.

  • Giving Myself Permission To Quit

    “Quit” feels like a bad word. When we quit we feel like we have failed. We feel like we are letting ourselves down. We feel like we are letting others down.

    I have worked with clients who had a hard time quitting smoking because quitting equaled failing.

    There are lots of things we do that we need to quit. Today’s tap along will help you let go of the things that are no longer useful and need to be quit.

    There are things in my life that were useful at one point…But they no longer are…They might not serve me…They might not challenge me…They might not even be good for me…And I’ve done them for so long…It’s what I do…And if I let them go…It feels like it’s letting go a part of me…It feels like I’m letting go a part of my image…It feels like I’m letting go who I am…And it might have been who I am…But it was who I was…I’m new…I’m different…I have permission to let things go…I have permission to quit things that I have done…Quitting feels like a bad word…Quitting feels like failure…Quitting simply means, I stop spending my energy…On something that is no longer useful…I give myself permission to quit…Things that are no longer useful…Things that are no longer helpful…Things that are no longer healthful…Quitting is not failing…Quitting is simply letting go of that which is not necessary anymore…It’s OK for me to quit…I am not a failure if I quit… it is OK for me to quit.

  • I Feel Like A Fraud

    There are times when I feel like I am a great big fraud! That I have fooled everyone around me for a long time and any moment now everyone will see through all the smoke and mirrors to see who I truly am.

    In reality the people around me know that I am not perfect, despite my best efforts to make them believe that I am.

    I’m worried that everybody is going to see I’m a fraud…In one moment, they’re going to recognize who I truly am…What I’m truly capable of…They’re going to recognize that they’ve been mistaken…And who they thought I was, was a lie…That I’ve been able to successfully fool them for years…There are times I’m insecure…There are times I’m far from confident…There are times when I’m far from perfect…And people see me for who I am…I’m not fooling everyone all the time…There are people in my life who know I’m not perfect…There are people in my life who know that I am flawed…And they love me anyway…And in many cases love me because of it…Even though I’m not confident all the time…Even though I don’t act perfectly all the time…I’m not a fraud…I’m not perfect…
    I’m doing the best that I can… And it’s OK for people to see me for who I am…I don’t expect others to be perfect… And others don’t expect me to be perfect…They’re not going to find me out…Because there’s nothing to find out…I am imperfect…And others know that…I am imperfect…And others do love me…I will continue to be imperfect…And others will continue to love me…

    I choose to be easy with myself today…I can continue to strive for more…And I choose to be easy with myself today…I can continue to move forward and I choose to be easy with myself…I am not perfect…I won’t be perfect…And I can love and accept myself when I’m not perfect…Even when I feel like a fraud…I love and accept myself…I love and accept myself…Even when I feel like a fraud…I am imperfect…And that’s OK…I give myself permission to be OK with being imperfect…
