There is a part of me – deep in my core -that recognizes the fact -we are all connected -we are all in this together -we are all one -and when we recognize that -we don’t feel alone -we don’t feel as desperate -we don’t feel as disconnected -we recognize others -for what they truly are -and it is easier to be gentle with ourselves -and easy to be gentle with others -because when we are gentle with ourselves -when we are gentle with others -when we see that connection -it is easier to respond and love -it is easier to respond and care -I recognize the fact -that we are all in this together -I am not responsible for everyone else -their burden isn’t my burden – but I can intrinsically recognize -the connection we have -which make it easier to make good choices -about how we treat ourselves -day to day -and moment to moment
