  • I Would Rather Be Stuck Than Deal With One More Failure

    It feels like an obvious statement but failure is no fun! There is the realization that all the time and all the effort we have put in haven’t produced the result we wanted.

    Experiencing failure repeatedly can make us gun shy, and not want to try new things because we want to avoid that sting again.

  • My Loved Ones Don’t Appreciate How Hard I Am Working

    When we are working towards something new it often times takes extra work. It would be create if our loved ones appreciated the work we were doing. When they do recognize our work it can serve as an encouragement.

    Unfortunately, our loved ones sometime don’t understand or appreciate how hard we are working.

  • I Don’t Have The Energy To Learn Something New

    Often when we are working toward new goals we need to acquire new skills and learning something new can take up a great deal of energy.

  • Not Having Achieved My Goal Is Making It Hard To Keep Going

    At times we are able to see so clearly how our life will be much better after we have achieved certain goals. This clarity can also shine a light on how far we are from success, which causes us considerable pain.

  • I Am Afraid To Try Because I Don’t Think I Could Survive Another Failure

    Failure is hard. Not only do we not get what we have worked for, but it also provides proof that when we work towards our goals we do not always succeed.

    Sometimes the fear of failure and the pain that comes with that failure is greater than the joy of success. When this happens we don’t take the action we need to take.

  • I Am Afraid Of What Others Will Think If I Fail Publicly

    Failure is no fun and it is even worse when others see us fail.

  • I Am Stuck In The Same Old Patterns As The Rest Of My Family

    There is no doubt that we are influenced by the families we grow up in. We spend so much time with our family that it’s entirely natural to adopt the same patterns and approaches.

    At a certain point we recognize that we need to break free, but sometimes that is easier said than done.

  • I Don’t Just Fail At Things BUT I Am A Failure

    Sometimes we can see that we failed at something. At other times where we feel like we ARE a failure.

    Failure is not an outcome of something we attempted, but who we are. We feel like we are a failure.

    When we feel like a failure it is really hard to take action because we feel hopeless.
