(Been on this page before and know how to do this? Skip right to the truth phrases.)
Below you will find a list of truth statements based on the most common reasons people don’t take the actions they know they need take.
To use this you will need to follow these simple steps:
1) What are you trying to do?
Think of a goal, a step towards a goal, or a task that you would like to do, but for some reason you can’t get yourself to take action. The more specific you can be, the more effective you will find this tool, but don’t worry if you can’t get specific.
2) Reading the truth statements
Below you will find a list of “truth statements”. A truth statement is one you will read aloud to see how true it feels to you.
Read the statement out loud and rate how true it feels for you right now on a scale of 0-10. If it doesn’t feel true at all you would rate it a zero and if it feels totally true then you would rate it a 10.
This is rating is totally subjective. It is OK if you feel like you are guessing!
3) Tap for the issue
If after reading one of the statements you have a rating of 5 or higher, then you have found a perfect candidate for a tappable issue. Click on the link after the phrase and you will be taken to every tap-along audio and tapping script for that issue.
All you need to do at this point is follow along and tap.
4) Re-rate the statement
After you have tapped through the audio(s) read your statement out loud once more and re-rate it on a scale of 0-10 on how true it feels. If it is still higher than 5 then tap through the appropriate audios again.
5) Take action or repeat the process?
So how do you feel? If you are ready to take action, then go ahead and do it! What are you doing still reading this?!
If you don’t feel ready to take action then keep after it. Read more of the truth statements and tap for any that you rate higher than a 5.
A final note before you begin:
Every week three new tap-along audios are added to the site. Make sure you come back often to use the new ones that fit your needs. If there is a reason, fear, or limiting belief preventing you from taking action that is not listed below please let me know. I will add it to the list and record a tap-along audio.
