When we don’t know exactly what we want it is hard to know what the next step is. Amid this uncertainty it’s natural to resist taking action because it might be the wrong action and a waste of our time and energy.
Today we are going to tap for the resistance to taking action when we don’t have a clear vision of what we want.
I Don’t Know Exactly What I Want Therefore Any Action Feels Like It Might Be Wrong.

I know I want better…I know I want more…I know I want to move forward…In a way that’s going to improve my life…In a way that’s going to improve my disposition…In a way that’s going to improve everything…But the problem is I’m not exactly sure what that is…I don’t have a clear vision…And I certainly don’t know what the next steps are…. And because I lack vision…And because I lack clarity…It’s really hard to take action…Because any action I take…Could be the wrong action…Could be a waste of time…Could be a waste of energy…And I recognize the fact…That in every choice that I make…I’m going to learn something new…I’m going to start moving forward…I’m going to start getting closer to my goal…Even if I’m not exactly sure what that goal is…Taking action is going to help me define what that goal is…With every action I take…I am going to get feedback…Which is going to help me to understand what I want…And help me understand who I want to be…As I move forward…It is good and appropriate…To take action even when I don’t know exactly what I want…To take action even when I don’t know which direction to head…I give myself permission…To be easy with myself in the process…Knowing that I don’t have to have clear, perfect action…In order to take good and useful action…Each step I take…Will teach me something about where I’m going…And what I need to do.
