Things often don’t work out as planned. We don’t do things as well as we would like and we encounter unexpected obstacles along the way. Our progress feels frustratingly slow when this happens.
Today we are going to tap for when we feel like we are taking one step forward followed by two steps back.
I Am Frustrated Because It Feels Like One Step Forward And Two Steps Back

Sometimes it’s really frustrating…Because my progress isn’t consistent…The instant I get something figured out…Something else shows up to make it worse…The instant I try to make some progress…A new problem flares up…And if I’m making any progress at all…It is happening so slowly…Because when I move forward…It’s immediately followed with me moving backwards…When I make progress…It feels like that progress is snatched away…And if I am only looking at the short term…It’s really easy to get caught up…And it’s really easy to feel stuck…But I recognize that over time…I am solving problems…I am moving forward…I am making progress…And even in the short term…Even though it feels like I’m getting nowhere…I recognize in the long term…That that is not the case…In the long term, success is happening…In the long term, progress is happening…In the long term, I am moving forward…Even though it feels like fits and starts…Even though it feels like when I get one success it’s followed by a new trouble…I recognize the fact that I am moving forward…I recognize the fact that I am making progress…I recognize the fact that I am not actually stuck…My small successes are adding up…And adding up over time…Moving me forward…And moving me to success.
