When we are coming up with goals and naming things that we want to change in our lives it is very easy to be excited at the beginning. As times passes and as we get into the day to day of the tasks working towards our goals it is very easy to get bogged down. When this happens we tend to lose our motivation.

Awesome teaching, Gene! I’m having a hard time right now getting motivated to lose weight and I appreciate all of these different approaches. It feels like you have covered all possible touch-points that will address all of the ways my motivation is leaking out faster than I can rebuild it.
