It takes work to reach a new level of success and to achieve our goals. We sometimes fear success because we can see that if we had to work so hard to achieve it, then it must follow that we will have to continue to work just as hard to maintain that success.
Today we are going to tap for the fear that success will mean that we will have to keep working as hard to maintain it.
If I Am Successful I Will Have To Work Harder To Maintain That Success
(audio 3m15s)
There’s a part of me that is worried…That if I’m successful…This will become the new standard…This will be what I have to live up to all of the time…This will be what it is about all of the time…And it is good that I’m pushing myself…And it’s good that I moving forward…And it’s good that I consistently want to have more and better…But just because I have been successful…In achieving some goals…It does not mean I have to maintain this all of the time…Many of the goals that I achieved…Once they are achieved…Improve my life without having to maintain them…Put me in a position of being more successful without more work…So that once I achieve something…It doesn’t mean I always have to work this hard…I’m working hard to move forward…I’m working toward these goals to create a better life…But just because I’m working harder…To get to this place…Does not mean it’s going to require that much work…To maintain this place…It is possible for me to be successful…It is possible for me to move forward…And being in a position…Where I don’t have to continually work that hard…Just because I’ve achieved success…Doesn’t mean maintaining that success requires that much work…I give myself permission…To know I can work toward goals…And be satisfied with those goals…And be satisfied with the outcomes…Without having to live up to that in every moment moving forward.
