Finding Grace In The Moment

This is a lovely quote by Anne Lamott: “I do not at all understand the mystery of grace – only that it meets us where we are but does not leave us where it found us.”

I don’t understand grace, but for some reason the more open I am to grace working in my life the more likely it is to be there.

Grace is ever present…Grace is everywhere…It is not a matter of grace being poured into my life…It is a matter of me having my eyes open enough…To recognize that grace that is always there…Grace is nurturing…Grace is transforming…When I encounter grace…I find myself heading towards who I need to be…Opportunities appear seemingly out of nowhere…Insight constantly arrives…Grace does not show up only at special times… Grace does not show up only when I most need it…Grace is ever present…I simply need to open my eyes to recognize it…I simply need to open my heart to receive it…I give myself permission to have open eyes today…To recognize that grace that is ever present…To graciously receive that grace…To consciously allow it in…To have its way with me…To heal me…To transform me…And to help me move forward…Grace is ever present…And I choose to see that today.
