In today’s reflection I am focusing on the idea of purity in the phrase, “May I be of pure heart, mind, intention, and action in all that I do today.”
It is really easy to think of the opposite of purity as impurity and evil. That may be true, but I think there is more to it than that.
When I act out of fear, it feels like an impure action.
When I act out of someone’s else definition of who I should be, it feels like an impure action.
When I act from who I once was, if feels like an impure action.
Let’s tap to have every thought, intention, and action today stem from a purely authentic place.
Have Pure Intentions
(audio 3m10s)
In all that I do today…I want to act with a pure heart…I want to have honest intentions…I want to see things as they truly are…I want to level with myself about what is true…This doesn’t mean people walk all over me…This doesn’t mean that I’m a pushover…This doesn’t mean that I don’t state my own intentions…A pure heart is simply being honest with what I truly feel…A pure mind is simply understanding myself and my circumstance for what it truly is…Pure intentions simply mean that I’m acting in an honest fashion…When I act with a pure heart and mind…I navigate and manage the day effortlessly…When I act with a pure heart and mind…I see myself for what I truly am…In all that I do today…I want to act…With a pure heart…A pure mind…Pure intentions for pure actions.
